Goldfish Swim School - Puyallup

<a href="https://www.goldfishswimschool.com/puyallup" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Goldfish Swim School</a>, the country’s leading water safety and swim lesson school offering infant and child swim lessons, is pleased to announce that it is teaming up with <a href="https://f45training.com/studio/southhill/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">F45 Training South Hill</a> to host the <a href="https://runsignup.com/Race/WA/Puyallup/SaferSummerSplashandDash2024" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">first virtual Safer Summer Splash and Dash</a> during the month of May. Families are encouraged to get out and enjoy the wonderful spring weather and support a great cause – ensuring that all kids are safer in and around water this summer! All proceeds from this event will go to support <a href="https://everychildaswimmer.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Every Child a Swimmer</a> to ensure that swim lessons are available to everyone! 
May is National Water Safety Awareness Month and this is a great time to review water safety basics. Drowning is the leading cause of injury death to children ages one to four—and the second leading cause of injury death for children ages one to 14, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Studies show that enrolling kids in consistent, high quality swim lessons can reduce their risk of drowning by up to 88%. 

The<a href="https://runsignup.com/Race/WA/Puyallup/SaferSummerSplashandDash2024" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> virtual Safer Summer Splash and Dash</a> offers a 5k for adults and a 1k for kiddos. Families are encouraged to <a href="https://runsignup.com/Race/WA/Puyallup/SaferSummerSplashandDash2024" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">visit the website</a> to sign up for the event and complete it on their own time in the month of May. The cost is $15 per adult and $10 per child with all proceeds to benefit <a href="https://everychildaswimmer.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Every Child a Swimmer</a>. If you can’t participate in the run, please consider donating through the website to increase access to swim lessons for all families. 
Participants can stop by <a href="https://www.goldfishswimschool.com/puyallup" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Goldfish Swim School Puyallup</a> (3500 S. Meridian) OR <a href="https://f45training.com/studio/southhill/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">F45 Training South Hill</a> (13103 Meridian E #102) to pick up race materials (including race bib and participant medal) beginning May 1, 2024. 
The top finishers (1st/2nd/3rd adult male and female; 1st/2nd/3rd stroller, 1st/2nd/3rd age 6 and under and ages 7-12) will win prizes including gym memberships and swim lessons packages. All children who participate in the race are entered to win a Safer Summer Swimmer prize pack.

Families are encouraged to take the pledge and promote the importance of parent-child conversations around water safety. Kids who take the pledge receive an additional entry to win a Safer Summer Swimmer prize pack.
