Puyallup, Cascade Foothills Could See Snow by Mid-Week
The mountain passes, meanwhile, are expected to get heavy snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Cascade foothills and Puyallup Valley will likely get a dusting of snow on Wednesday night, as snow levels drop around the Puget Sound region.
In Puyallup, the National Weather Service says snow and rain showers are likely after 11 p.m. on Wednesday. The snow level will be 1,000 feet decreasing to 200 feet, and little or no accumulation is expected.
On Thursday, the forecast is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 39. The chance of precipitation will decrease to 40 percent with a mix of snow and rain expected.

Meanwhile, the mountain passes will see heavy snowfall into the middle of the week. Snoqualmie Pass is forecast to get 5-9 inches Tuesday and another 2-4 inches on Wednesday; Stevens Pass could see accumulations above 15 inches by Thursday.
