Holiday Bazaar for Baby Casen is Saturday at Carson Elementary

Come shop at this special fundraising bazaar tomorrow, benefiting 8-month-old Casen Buswell, who has an extremely rare vascular condition.

This Saturday is your chance to help make a difference in the life of a very special Puyallup resident.

Casen Buswell is only 8 months old and fighting a condition so rare it's only been seen in 14 other cases across the world, and this Saturday, a special Holiday Bazaar has been planned in his honor.

Join the Puyallup community and Buswell family at this special event and get some early Christmas shopping done, get your family photos taken and enjoy fresh baked goods.

The event is at Carson Elementary and will go from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds go toward Casen's medical expenses.

Who is Baby Casen?

Casen Buswell has been diagnosed with an extremely rare congenital vascular malformation--GVM Plaque Type, that makes it painful for him to be touched, or hugged.

With such a rare condition, treatment options in the South Puget Sound are just not enough. There is only one doctor in the world who has ever treated patients with GVM-Plaque Type, and he is in Belgium.

Armed with a diagnosis, the Buswell family is ready to leave everything behind and find relief and support for their baby. But all the unknown practicalities and planning are nerve-wracking. And the biggest unknown is how much all of this will cost.

Casen's story has hit a nerve in Washington State and across the country. The Buswell family has been profiled in media outlets big and small - from Bonney Lake-Sumner Patch to KOMO TV and ABC News.

What if I can't make the bazaar? Can I still donate?

Visit the Give Forward website at http://www.giveforward.com/casenbuswell to make a direct donation to the Buswell family. So far, over $35,000 has been raised through that site alone.
