Kids ages 6-12 can explore the fascinating world of archaeology and excavation. Dig It! will feature photos and facts from a real archeologist’s dig and a guest who has actually been on a dig adventure. Kids will also enjoy solving plaster-cast dinosaur bone puzzles, ooing and aaahhing at a display of authentic fossils, and getting a surprise “dig” into a tasty treat. Come ready to learn about uncovering secrets from the past and make a few discoveries of your own.

This FREE special library event is part of the “Dig Into Reading!” summer reading program for children. Click Here for a schedule of  more events each week. Designed to keep young people reading during the long hot days of summer, the summer reading program at the Puyallup Public Library offers fun incentives to help children maintain their reading skills. All children who spend time reading, listening to an audio book, or being read to, can enter drawings for great prizes.
