What Would You Improve in Puyallup in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Puyallup, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Puyallup to make it an even better place to live?

What is on Puyallup's wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Tell us in the comment section below or upload a Local Voices blog about why you love living here.

Have the Library post all items missing as "long overdue" as stolen and never to be seen again

Good idea Dee Vee! LOL. Maybe an extra clause on long overdue books that says "don't get your hopes up!"

I'd like to see less litter in our city. And it needs to start with those little blue and pink newspaper bags. I've tried to opt out of delivery, evidently unsuccessfully, a couple times. Opting out needs to be easy and certain and littering fines need to be levied against the people that deliver a new bag of papers to the pile of old bags of paper that you see at the end of some driveways.

Call the company and report it "every" time it happens.
The delivery person will finally get the message to stop. Our neighborhood is a HOA and we were able to stop deliveries in the entire area. Don't give up. It may take awhile.
