CeeLo Cancels Washington State Fair Concert

CeeLo Green was scheduled to perform on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Washington State Fair, and has canceled due to health reasons.

The Washington State Fair has received notification from CeeLo Green’s management that his concert on Thursday, Sept. 12 will be canceled due to illness.

His publicist stated, “As a result of a bad case of laryngitis and acute sinusitis, CeeLo Green has been advised by his doctor to rest his voice and not fly until further notice. Unfortunately, he will not be able to perform tomorrow night at the Washington State Fair, and sincerely apologizes to his fans and hopes for a quick recovery.”

Ticket holders for the CeeLo Green concert have two options with the tickets they presently hold for the show. It is requested that either option be completed by Sept. 22. They are:

  1. Exchange their CeeLo Green tickets for another grandstand show at the 2013 Washington State Fair. The ticket holder will be responsible for the price difference if the selection is a higher-priced ticket. For lower priced selections, refunds for the difference will be made. This transaction must be completed by emailing boxoffice@thefair.com. or by visiting the Fair box office at 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street in person with your CeeLo ticket.
  2. Return the ticket for a refund, which also includes convenience charge refund. This transaction must be completed by emailing boxoffice@thefair.com or by visiting the Fair box office at 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street in person with your CeeLo ticket

Ticket holders may still use the Fair gate admission portion of their ticket to attend the Fair tomorrow, even though CeeLo is not performing. This will not effect the exchange or return of your ticket, but is a courtesy the Fair extends to ticketholders. The gate admission is a $12.50 value.
