Luminasia: A New Light to the Washington State Fair

From the Washington State Fair:

Walk through a sparkling world of lanterns at the Washington State Fair’s Luminasia exhibit. The tradition of Chinese lanterns traveled over 6000 miles from Zigong, China to be showcased at the Fair Sept. 6-22, as well as Sept. 27- Oct. 13, the weekends following the Fair.

This ancient craft has been transformed and modernized to dazzle its audience in this larger-than-life production. Artisans from China have been on the grounds in Puyallup since August 3 assembling this marvelous exhibit.
