Things are heating up in downtown Puyallup this fall, as the finishing touches are made on Bourbon Street Bar & Grill.

Bourbon Street, located at 401 S. Meridian in Puyallup, will offer a variety of steak and shrimp combinations cooked in Cajun Louisiana style, according to The Tacoma News Tribune.

The restaurant site used to be a gas station. Bourbon Street's owner told the TNT that the restaurant will have a "date night feel, and everything is remodeled except "the four walls." There will also be a full bar and outdoor seating area.

Very Excited to have a new place coming downtown! Cajun is needed and so is the competition. We are "hungry" for new small unique businesses.

isn't Bourbon spelled with an o? On that sign the second o looks like an a. Just sayin'....

Good eye, Lisa! I think that was a mistake... hopefully their food is better than their spelling! :-P
