The average gas prices in the Tacoma area are slightly more than other areas in the state and nationally.

According to AAA Fuel Gauge Report, the average price for a gallon of gasoline in Tacoma this week is $3.44, a 3-cent increase from last month. The Washington average is $3.39 and the national average is $3.29.
