High winds and rain brought power outages to East Pierce County on Thursday, according to a Puget Sound Energy spokeswoman.
As of 3 p.m. on Monday approximately 900 PSE customers are without power, mostly in the Puyallup area.
Across the PSE service area, 23,000 customers are experiencing power loss due to high winds and fallen tree limbs.
PSE crews are working with the National Weather Service to restore power when the forecast clears. Crews are ready but waiting until after 4 p.m. when the winds are forecasted to die down.
