Weekend Forecast Filled with Rain Showers

It's going to be a rainy weekend in the South Puget Sound, with highs in the upper 40s and lows in the lower 40s.

The sunshine from Sunday and Monday isn't expected to return anytime soon, as rain dominates the weekend forecast.

The regional extended forecast from the National Weather Service calls for an 80 percent chance of rain Thursday through Sunday. Temperature highs will be in the upper 40s, lows in the lower 40s.

No special weather alerts or flood warnings are expected.
