Sixteen-year-old Briana Troyer, the daughter of Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer, has been found in a north Tacoma home, thanks to a public tip.

An Amber Alert for a 16-year-old mentally challenged Tacoma girl was called off Wednesday morning after she was found in a Tacoma home, thanks to a public tip.

Briana Troyer, the daughter of Pierce County Sheriff's spokeman Ed Troyer, was at Tower Lanes Bowling in Tacoma on Wednesday evening during a school-sanctioned function when she walked off with a 21-year-old registered level-one sex offender, Terrance Powell.

Troyer was at the event with the Wilson High School bowling team. A family spokesman for the family told media they do not know Powell at all.
