AP Obtains Voyeuristic Photos of Susan Powell Seized From Father-In-Law's Computer

Through a public records request, the AP has obtained thousands of images from Steve Powell's computer, showing Susan Powell out in public, or sitting in her car.

When Susan Powell would go out for walks, go shopping in public or sit alone in her car, she was unaware she was being watched.

That's what The Associated Press has concluded, after it obtained 4,500 images of Susan from Steve Powell's computer, seized during a search warrant last year of his Puyallup home.

The file on his computer was marked "SMP" for her initials. Read more about what was found in the AP story.

It's the same computer that sent him to prison--police also found photos on the computer of the young girls next door to him, which were voyeuristic and predatory. He is currently serving a prison sentence of just over 2 years.

Investigators want to speak to Powell about Susan's disappearance, which happened in Utah over three years ago. Thus far, he has been uncooperative, police have said.
