Barn Complete Loss in Edgewood Fire

A barn in Edgewood on the 3200 block of 114th Ave. E. burned to the ground. No one was injured and there were no animals inside.

An Edgewood barn burned to the ground Monday evening after what appears to be an accident, according to a press release from East Pierce Fire and Rescue.

East Pierce responded to the fire, on the 3200 block of 114th Ave. E., shortly after 5 p.m. Firefighters from South King Fire and Rescue also responded mutual aid.

Firefighters arrived to find the barn fully involved and extinguished the fire within 45 minutes. No animals or people were inside the barn.Β  No one was injured in the fire.
