Burglars Cut Hole in Ceiling, Steal Alcohol and TV from Mexican Restaurant

The burglars who broke into the Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant on 15th St. SE. got creative with their entry, according to the Puyallup Police report.

Sometime after 11 p.m. on June 2, someone gained entry to the restaurant via a door on the roof, cut holes in the ceiling from the attic area and stole televisions and alcohol.

The door on the roof did have a padlock but the suspects removed and stole it. The owner believes it to be an inside job and based on her reasoning this is likely true, according to Puyallup Police.

There are no suspects at this time.
