A fight over whose football team is better—the St. Louis Rams or Minnesota Vikings—ended with a stabbing on Sunday, Dec. 9, according to the Puyallup Police Department.

Two football fans got into an argument at the Ram Restaurant and Brewery and they took it outside, where the Rams fan hit the Vikings Fan over the head with a travel mug, then pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the arm.

The 57-year-old suspect fled to Bradley Lake Park and ditched the knife. He was tracked by police and arrested for first-degree assault. Investigators also recovered a .38-caliber handgun that the suspect allegedly tossed while fleeing the scene.
