Officer Involved Shooting Reported In Buckley

A "dangerous" fugitive wanted for a home-invasion and assault has been shot by Pierce County Sheriff's Deputies outside a motel in Buckley, according to the Tacoma News Tribune. The suspect was transported to the hospital for gunshot injuries, KOMO reports.

Police officers were responding on the 400 block if West Main Street. Minimal traffic impacts in both directions of SR 410.

Buckley Police Chief Jim Arsanto said the situation was being overseen by the Pierce County Sheriff's Office and a representative was expected to be at the scene shortly to address media questions.
