A 40-year-old Orting woman died Saturday evening after she flipped her car on SR 162 near Voights Creek, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Investigators believe Jennifer L. Land was driving drunk at the time of the collision.
WSP reports she was driving westbound on SR 162 at Fish Hatchery Road when she failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway to the right. Her 2004 Chevy Blazer rolled and came to a rest on its top. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other cars or drivers were found to be involved. WSP reports Land was wearing her seatbelt.
