Puyallup Fair Blotter: Wallet Stolen Near Ferris Wheel, Lost Backpack Found Under Ride

SEPT. 12, 2013
DUI: The driver of a vehicle was stopped and found to be impaired by marijuana. He was booked for DUI.
Otherwise, it was a slow day at the fair, with a few parking violations.
SEPT. 10, 2013
Theft: A backpack reported stolen near the Enterprise Carnival Ride was located near the area. It still contained all of the owner's possessions and appeared to have been kicked under the ride accidentally. The backpack was returned to the victim.
SEPT. 11, 2013
Lewd Conduct: A 39-year-old sex offender was arrested at the fair for lewd conduct and voyeurism. Read more on Puyallup Patch.
Medical Issues: Several medical calls were made as a result of the heat.
Marijuana: Four juveniles were "ejected" from the fair for smoking marijuana.
Felony Warrant Arrest: A motorcycle driver was stopped for driving with a defective exhaust pipe and improper lane travel. He had a no bail warrant for homicide and a dangerous knife strapped to his side.

Illegal Parking: Several vehicles were ticketed for parking illegally on 10th Ave. SE.
SEPT. 7, 2013
Forgery: A counterfeit $50 bill was passed at one of the fair booths sometime during the day.
Theft: A victim reported that her wallet, cash and debit card were stolen from the ferris wheel area.
