Puyallup resident Daman Heath Lehman plead guilty to second-degree assault for punching a man in the face outside Cheers on S. Meridian last year, leaving him in a coma.

Puyallup resident Daman Heath Lehman has been charged with first-degree assault and could face up to a year in prison after Pierce County prosecutors argued for a long sentence, saying his case warranted more time for the crime.

The 21-year-old victim "almost died" after being punched in the face outside of Cheers last April, according to The Tacoma News Tribune.
