Puyallup Patrols Focus on Seat Belt, Cell Phone Violations Through June 2

Habitual texters beware -- Puyallup Police and Pierce County Sheriff's patrols will be on the lookout for cell phone and seatbelt violations on the roads this week.

During a similar enforcement campaign in 2012, police officers issued 1,059 cell phone tickets and 3,171 seat belt tickets statewide.

The current 'Click It or Ticket' campaign starts today and ends June 2.
