Puyallup Police Nab Shoplifter Fleeing Macys

The department shared a few photos on Twitter from the aftermath of the getaway attempt Saturday; the bad guy was caught.

Puyallup Police took one person into custody following a report of a shoplifting at Macys at the South Hill Mall Saturday.

It wasn't the easiest arrest as evidenced by a few photos the department shared via its Twitter account.

The suspect reportedly tried to hit one officer head-on and a second officer after his vehicle T-boned the police vehicle before fleeing on foot.

He was apprehended shortly after.

Both officers were not injured and "the bad guy went to jail. ... Every day our officers give it their all to protect our community & know that at any moment they might have to put it all on the line."
