Primary Election Night Results Show Kathy Yang Leading for Puyallup School Board, Pos. 4

Puyallup School Board candidates Kathy Yang and Karen Edwards will face off in the General Election this November.

Puyallup School Board candidates Kathy Yang and Karen Edwards are leading in the polls in today's Primary Election, according to the first wave of results released in Pierce County at 8:15 p.m, Tuesday August 6.

Puyallup voters had to choose between Karen EdwardsMargie Silver and Kathy Yang for the Puyallup School Board, Pos. 4. 

This November, Kathy Yang and Karen Edwards will face off in the General Election for the school board seat. 

Here are the election night numbers, current as of 8:15 p.m. Tues., Aug. 6, 2013. According to county data, 15.57 percent of registered district voters have returned their ballots.

Kathy Yang: 4,699 votes (44.71 percent)
Karen Edwards
: 3,724 votes (35.44 percent)
Margie Silver: 1,969 votes (18.74 percent)
