Ferrucci Junior High School Students Will Return to Class Wednesday

From the Puyallup School District:

Later this evening, Ferrucci Junior High School students will learn where they will attend classes tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11.

Air samples from the junior high school are being evaluated this evening in Seattle.  Results will be known sometime after 7 p.m.  Depending on the results, district officials have two plans in place.

If all goes as expected, teachers and staff will welcome students back to school at Ferrucci Junior High School.  If air quality is of concern, students will attend their own classes at Emerald Ridge High School.

Parents and guardians of Ferrucci Junior High students will be contacted by phone as soon as test results are received.  The information will also be posted on the school district website at www.puyallup.k12.wa.us and on the district’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.  This information will include transportation plans if classes are held at Emerald Ridge High School.

Either way, students will follow a modified schedule on Wednesday.  September 11 is Fair Day in the Puyallup School District.  All students are released 3 ¼ hours early from school on this day.
