What accomplishments brought you to the Daffodil Festival? What really led me to the festival was the community service experiences I’ve had throughout the last few years. By seeing the way a simple act of service or even a smile could so positively affect someone’s life, I always wanted to do more. The Daffodil Festival provides numerous amounts of service opportunities for the 24 princesses, and I wanted to be a part of that.
What are your future plans? I plan to attend Brigham University in Provo, Utah, where I will study biology. From there, I will either attend pharmacy school or continue with my studies in biology.
Who is someone you admire? Someone I really admire is my sister-in-law, Jessica. She is intelligent, kind-hearted, and always smiling and willing to help. More than that, she treats me as her own sister and is there for me whenever I need her. She is the kind of person I want to become.
In 10 years, I will be… hopefully finished with my education. From there, I would like to pursue my career or be starting family, possibly both.
One of my hidden talents is… the ability to listen. I love listening to people’s concerns, goals, aspirations, or anything they are struggling with. Often I find that all people need is someone to listen, not to respond, give advice, judge, or ridicule, just listen. I can just listen.
