Girls Lacrosse: Puyallup Falls to Gig Harbor, 10-6
Puyallup's offense was led by Elisabeth Abbott, who scored twice against Gig Harbor on Thursday.
SUMNER - Mia Henderson scored a game-high four goals as Gig Harbor earned its second straight girls high school lacrosse victory in a 10-6 win over Puyallup, Thursday at Sunset Stadium in Sumner.
Hannah Ellestad, Haleigh Vergera and Haley Didway each contributed two goals for Gig Harbor in the win.
Puyallup trailed 9-3 at halftime and although goalkeeper Grace Bartels only allowed one goal in the second half, Gig Harborβs lead was too great to overcome.

Puyallup was led offensively by Elisabeth Abbott who scored twice on the day. Amelia Heckert, Megan McAllister and Olivia Bean each scored once.
Gig Harbor (2-0-0) next faces Stadium (1-2-0) in a 6 p.m. matchup, Wednesday, March 27 at Mason Middle School.
